@MarcIles I would have more sympathy if his actions matched his words. If the players were off the pace (they were), why not sub 2/3 at half time or why not use all his subs. Why keep picking the same players & formation that fails. Definition of madness.

@MarcIles Good article @MarcIles History has shown that a good manager can get a performance out of average players. I believe many of our team are better than average - but I can’t see anything changing without a new voice and new leadership.

@WandererSmurf @MarcIles Spot on. I said after Wembley that freeing Santos from the ‘burden’ of Captaincy could be key. Would need to find the right type of Captain and not sure they exist in the squad at the moment.

@MarcIles Depressing reading that Marc. However, defensively you could throw Charlton & Bristol Rovers (both home) as examples that cost us too. IE talks a lot about missed opportunities for attackers, it feels like we hear less about the cost of defensive lapses.

@MarcIles Good article. Said on Sat that I’m not Evatt out but he needs to quickly show that he’s learnt from the issues seen this season. The lack of on field Leadership is a big concern for me - perhaps Santos would be more consistent without the burden of Captaincy?

@WandererSmurf It’s more than the performance that hurts. Oxford had us tactically sussed out. Front 3 against our back 3 and then 3 on 3 in the midfield. Nullified us completely. Out balls to the wing backs were poor and IE didn’t look to change it.

@CameronJeromeFC Agreed. Dempsey aside I don’t think I saw an ounce of passion or desire. People can blame Evatt but the players have to want it and fight for it.

@TrottersBlog Not Evatt out at all but he needs to seriously relook at some of his first choice picks. Today was 50% Evatt and 50% the players on the pitch - No leadership, no passion out there.
