What a great morning at BG First!
We are honored to have Dr. Carla & Chuck Sunberg with us for this year’s District Assembly. Dr. Sunberg shared a powerful message from Mark 4, reminding us that while God’s kingdom often has small beginnings, it produces great results.
It’s also exciting to see how God is working through Pastor Micah & Angela Moreno as they faithfully serve at BG First. We look forward to all God has in store for this church family! #KYNaz #RenewEquipConnect #RECkentucky #Nazarene
As I’ve prepared for District Assembly this year, I’ve been challenged to live out the theme: “One Thing” (Luke 10:42).
In the story of Mary and Martha, Martha wasn’t distracted by sinful things. She was distracted by good things—practical things, necessary things, reasonable things. What she failed to recognize was that even good things can become dangerous when they pull us away from the presence of Jesus.
This year, rather than being consumed by the busyness of preparation, I’ve tried to be intentional about making time with Jesus the priority as we prepare to celebrate another year in the life of the church.
I’m looking forward to gathering with the KYNaz family on Sunday evening. Come expecting. #KYNaz #OneThing #Nazarene #DistrictAssembly
What a special morning at our Delmer Church! The church surprised Pastor Peter & Tiffany Doyle with a 5-year anniversary celebration, honoring their faithful leadership and ministry. We are so grateful for this pastor, his family, and the wonderful people of this church. What a blessing to be part of the celebration! #KYNaz #RenewEquipConnect #RECkentucky #Nazarene
The truth of the Gospel has a way of reaching the deepest, darkest parts of the human heart. More than ever, people are searching for hope, purpose, and truth—and that truth is only found in Jesus. #PreachTheGospel#TruthMatters

What a privilege to be invited back to preach at Amplify Church this weekend—a place that means so much to us, having pastored here from 2005 to 2013. It’s incredible to see all that God is doing. With four services each weekend and around 1,500 people attending, the impact for Jesus is powerful! So grateful for Pastor Phillip & Crystal Modlin—God is clearly moving through their leadership. #AmplifyChurch

From 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we spent the entire day on a professional photo shoot with Kacey. Vertex, the pharmaceutical company that provided the stem cell transplant which cured her of beta thalassemia, is featuring Kacey (with her mom and dad) in an upcoming medical magazine.
It was a full-scale production, complete with hair, makeup, wardrobe—the whole nine yards. I’ll never look at an ad the same way again now that I’ve seen how much effort goes into capturing the perfect shot.
So incredibly proud of you, Kacey!
