My kid’s school has pyjama day today. I noticed the teachers had their PJs on already and readily cheering for the kids and themselves at the gate with their coffees. The assistant teachers didn’t. I ask one assistant teacher hurriedly passing by where her PJs are and she says she has them in her bag. She must still go change into her PJ set.
Then it hit me. She obviously couldn’t be in a taxi in PJs . After school she must go change into her day clothes.
We are not equal.
