PEACE IS IN STAYING THE COURSE.
Peace comes from believing in yourself, trusting your journey, and staying committed to your path and not chasing every direction others take.
Remember, the grass isn’t greener elsewhere. It’s greener where you water it. 🌱
Every generation has what the fascinated them in their 30s and 40s. In our parents time, what fascinated the young men then was breaking into the banking sector by getting banking licenses, which is why we had too many banks back then and few later survived. Joining the military was also in vogue for them which is why many of them in their 30s could carry out coups and become top military brass.
When politics came in 1999, those in their 30s and 40s jumped into it. Many who were scared that the military could truncate it refused to join and my dad was one of those who made such mistake of not joining, even when he was offered ticket on platter of gold as the most intelligent among his mates. Today, those his mates are the ones who ruined Delta State and still ruining it while he complains.
In our era, those of us in our 30s and 40s who want to go legitimate have found gold in tech and online powered jobs and lucky enough to see Ai come in our booming years which has made the tech and online jobs easier for us.
When our kids are in their 30s and 40s, something else will be in vogue that will be their convergence.
One thing will however be a denominator.
Every of such generations will complain that the older years had better time and ruined their own time, all because Nigeria refused to be a working country.
If we don’t take the chance to either have a government that cares in 2027 or a peaceful revolution, every generation will curse generations before them.
