I can’t imagine being a billionaire and having no positive impact on the world. No schools, libraries, or hospitals. No diseases cured, no lives saved, no effort to help millions escape poverty. Just generating more money and a commitment to supremacy. How embarrassing.

Just here recycling toilet paper roll cores, using my own bags, not running the water when I brush my teeth, while billionaires are blowing up rockets and building water-polluting data centers. It’s hard not to be discouraged.
The problem with the UK is we have an electorate that wants a Japanese approach to immigration, Nordic welfare, an American tax system and a political class that would rather pander to this delusion as opposed to levelling with public about the necessary trade offs. This approach will continue to produce failed leaders until it fundamentally changes.
