Psychology says some people avoid socializing not because they hate people, but because they can read them too well. They walk into a room and immediately sense the fake laughs, the hidden agendas, the performances. Their nervous system doesn’t misread the signal, it just refuses to ignore it. Small talk feels like a tax they didn’t agree to pay. Forced smiles cost them energy that takes hours to recover.
They’re not broken. They’re calibrated differently. They don’t avoid people. They avoid emotional labor that leads nowhere. When they do connect, it’s deep, intentional, real. No masks. No games. Fewer friends doesn’t mean loneliness. It means higher standards.
That’s not antisocial behavior. That’s emotional intelligence.
You broke her. Imagine, God sent you that woman as a gift a blessing and a test to see how you would handle her. She was the one meant to heal you, to love you completely, to be your peace in a chaotic world. She was the woman who cared about your future, not just in this life but the next as well. She was meant to walk with you through everything, someone who wanted nothing but the best for you. She never gave up on you, always believing in you, always choosing you. And in return, you broke her. You tore her apart, shattered the love and trust she had in you. You made her cry, endlessly, when all she ever did was try to love you. You took advantage of a rare, handpicked rose that was sent to you to be cherished. Let that sink in. You had a gift, a blessing, and you let it slip through your fingers.
@creepydotorg I’ve heard about this story too many times. It use to cross my mind after reading about it because it’s a sad story. Someone may have poisoned her food or killed her in a way that it couldn’t be detected since the coroner and autopsy said she been sitting there for 2-3 years.
