What exactly has he done in last 12 years apart from fake PR?
THE MASTERPLAN
The government reached its E20 target last September–October.
People were angry at that time, but later many accepted it.
Then, during the US-Iran war, when there were worries about fuel shortages, the government allegedly used the situation to increase the ethanol blend without telling customers.
Because people did not know about the higher blend, they started noticing lower fuel efficiency and, in some cases, damage to their vehicles.
At the same time, the government kept defending the policy with the same old E20 arguments, while allegedly selling petrol with a higher ethanol blend that people were not told about.
Over time, people may get used to these problems. Then, when the government officially announces E25 petrol, there may not seem to be much change, and public anger may be much lower.
@Tushar15 Ok what if we use domestically produced ethanol instead of importing for all other things than adulterating the petrol? Problem solved ? But no.
Arvind Kejriwal wants petrol to be sold at ₹82 per litre irrespective of international crude prices. If he truly believes that, he should start with Punjab, where his own party is in power.
The price build-up exposes his hypocrisy. The base price charged to dealers is ₹81.77 per litre, and the dealer commission is ₹4.48. The only major component entirely under the Punjab government’s control is VAT, which currently adds ₹18.57 per litre.
If Kejriwal waives Punjab’s VAT, petrol would cost around ₹86.25 per litre without touching the dealer margin. He doesn’t even need the Centre’s approval.
So why hasn’t he done it?
Instead of lecturing others, Kejriwal should first implement his own formula in Punjab. Until then, his ₹82-per-litre promise is nothing more than political theatre.

Our body was never compliant to such High Sugar & Palm Oil. When High Sugar & Oil Products were given as Fuel to our Bodies, we became Diabetic. Now slowly, we are becoming Conscious and Filling Better Fuel into our Bodies. Never too late.

This man, who monopolized every TV debate, mocked critics and even moonlighted as the Petroleum Minister, suddenly discovered "collective decision" the moment public anger arrived. Success has one father; failure has the entire Union Ministry.
