@volklub@Houseof_Cricket We could have even won that series if not for Steve Waugh saving Australia in his final test innings at Sydney.
Dada the captain always came so close to achieving the unthinkable.
@Jubito_07@KamaleshDevi@HustlerCSK There were three 4-0 score lines against his name in a span of just 1 year. Then we lost a test series to England and an ODI series against Pakistan at home. Look I totally agree that Dhoni is a great captain but that was a very tense period in his career. Srinivasan saved him.
@Jubito_07@KamaleshDevi@HustlerCSK Lost test series 4-0 & odi 4-0 in England. Lost test series 4-0 and didn't qualify for finals in the CB series in Australia. Lost a home test series (2-1) to England after 27 years. Eliminated in group stages of 2009 and 2010 T20 WC. So yeah captaincy was on a slippery slope.
@Jubito_07@KamaleshDevi@HustlerCSK They were not fighting for a single spot. Sachin was on the verge of retirement and Gauti would have opened again with Virat at 3.
Gauti had just won an IPL while captaining & Dhoni's captaincy was on a slippery slope. The competition had to be removed and was eventually removed.
@KamaleshDevi@HustlerCSK He scored 300+ runs in the Tri-Series and was the 2nd highest run scorer for India.
Someone who watched that series would only know how well he performed. But he made a few remarks against Dhoni's finishing strategy in the press conference which didn't go down well with the mgt.
From the ambition of "Ye desh badlega hum badlenge isse" to comments like "youth tend to be communist" we have witnessed the promise of youth and accountability in public service, especially politics, getting destroyed right in front of our eyes.
Most of Dhruv Rathee's followers are youths because, by nature, the youth tend to be communist. Anti-establishment and rebellious ideas excite them.
However, the problem is that these youths stay away from home, residing in metros for education, and depend on their parents for finances. They may not go to their hometown to vote as per Rathee's wishes. If they express the desire to return home to vote, citing their participation in a revolutionary army fighting to save democracy against an oppressive state, their father will give them a mouthful, especially regarding financial aspects.
By the time they secure jobs and become financially independent, they shift away from the communist mindset and start thinking independently. Of course, exceptions exist. This is why Dhruv Rathee is inconsequential as far as Indian polls are concerned.
Going against Virat Kohli is like going against the sun. Harsha holding grudges for the IPL 2016 incident is understandable but these sly remarks against VK are just abominable. Virat has literally carried India in the last 3/4 T20 WC campaigns.
VIDEO | “Virat Kohli is a great example. Virat Kohli is playing Test cricket for India and he isn’t supposed to get out. Now, he goes to play for RCB, for India; beyond a certain point, it might actually been the interest of the side for him to get out. How do you reconcile to the fact that I am one of the greatest who have played the game but actually at this stage, it’s in the team’s interest that I get out because the person who is coming in will probably hit 20 of 6 balls. Viral Kohli is an extreme example,” says cricket expert Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) while speaking at SHRM India Talent Leadership Summit & Expo 2024 in Mumbai.

@Loyalsachfan01 @RandomCricketP1@thisisindra Dhoni was sprinting for a single and Johnson suddenly came in his way.
Then Dhoni gave him that stare and scored a century too🔥

Pat Cummins realizing that Khawaja had to stand away because of the alcohol so he tells his team to put it away and calls Khawaja back immediately. A very small but a very beautiful gesture❤️
Dear bankers who are selling a pension ulip to a 75 year old lying to them about returns and omitting fact that money is locked for life. How do you sleep at night?
