The Government has decided to wind up the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and replace it with two new entities: a Digital Economic Authority responsible for policy and governance and a second entity focused on project implementation and support. The future of ICTA employees will be determined through the liquidation process.
