It has been said (mostly by me) that Oklahoma is the Australia of the US. Why? Because everyone loves our accent and we have like, A LOT, of ☠️ snakes.
Venomous snakes are a part of life in the wild world of Oklahoma. Spring is here and so are they.
Let's review;
My job is so weird because I’ve been here for 30 minutes today and have:
• sent out Christmas cards
• published a website
• bought $3000 worth of chairs
• washed dishes
Late night thoughts: Sister Act 3.
Whoopi Goldberg leads the nuns on a tour of cathedrals in Europe when their tickets and money are stolen in Spain. They enter a local competition and win after singing their rendition of “My Maria” by Brooks and Dunn.
Today, a kid cried because I wouldn’t let him help me make goody bags for the parade. WWIII broke out in the house. Tears were shed. Reluctantly, I let him help, and he was bored after 5 minutes.
Lesson learned: say yes to kids but then make it boring. 🙃
5. Called a month later to see when the new skid plate would be in and was told they would contact the district manager.
6. Never heard back from them.
7. Have called multiple times over the past 4 months and they won’t answer my calls.
8. I will never go back.
My story with @Valvoline:
1. Went to get an oil change and the worker broke my skid plate in June.
2. Got an estimated cost of $500 to fix it.
3. Filed a complaint.
4. Got a call back saying they would order a new skid plate and put it on.
