Filipinos are a grateful people. We do not forget genuine help, and we say salamat when thanks is due. But gratitude is not a price tag on our sovereignty. No vaccine, no shipment of fertilizer, and no infrastructure project buys the right to violate our rights in the West Philippine Sea, to harass our fishermen, or to aim water cannons and military-grade lasers at our Coast Guard vessels.

The Secretary did not “bite the hand that feeds.” He simply refused to let that hand cover our eyes while the other hand takes what is ours under UNCLOS and the 2016 Arbitral Award. To question whether long-term good faith exists is not ingratitude — it is honesty.

And if assistance is given only so it can later be waved in our faces to demand our silence, then it was never kindness to begin with — it was leverage. True kindness is never thrown back as a debt. The moment help is turned into a weapon, it ceases to be kindness and becomes coercion.

China is most welcome to be a true friend of the Philippines. But a true friend does not ask you to surrender your sovereignty and sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea as the price of friendship.

Rowena Guanzon: a scourge of our modern society.

Please help us spread awareness of this disgusting and contemptuous behaviour of one called Rowena Guanzon. The public display of such arrogance and uncivilised conduct should never be normalised in our modern society.

This is the typical behaviour of a DDS fanatic normalised by the Duterte family. The tragedy is that the same kind of impertinent behaviour now pervades our society and among our children. This is the contribution of the Duterte family and that of their supporters in a nation fractured by politics and impunity.

The vulgarity and impertinence exhibited by Rowena Guanzon in public and inside a privately owned shopping establishment, should be more than enough for the victims and the mall owners/ administrators to sue for public scandal and libel damages.

How do we correct a problem called Rowena Guanzon and her primitive behaviour?

Alam ko na maraming nadismaya sa mga kaganapan kagabi sa Senado. Kaya eto naman ang aking mga optimistic takeaways para mabuhayan kayo ng loob:

Una, merong limang magigiting na Senador na tumindig at nakipaglaban para sa interest ng ating Demokrasya. Kahit alam nila Sens. Koko, Risa, Grace, Nancy at Win na mabigat ang laban at matatalo sila sa botohan, nanindigan pa rin sila para sa tama. Ipagbunyi natin ang kanilang moral fortitude. Bihira na yan sa pulitika sa panahon ngayon.

Pangalawa, natuloy ang panunumpa at nagconvene impeachment court kahit ito ay plano nilang pigilan. Ibig sabihin rin nito na sakop na si Sara ng jurisdiction ng impeachment court.

Pangatlo, hindi natuloy ang outright dismissal ng kaso na ayon dapat sa plano ng duterte bloc. Sa madaling salita, buhay pa ang kaso and WE LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY.

Ang tanong, ano na ang ating gagawin?

Ipagpatuloy natin ang ating pagtulak sa pagpatuloy ng impeachment trial para mapanagot si Sara sa kanyang mga krimen. Kailangan rin nating makilahok sa mga darating na pagkilos sa kalye at pag-iingay sa social media. Iparamdam natin sa mga Senador ang ating saloobin.

Antabayanan po ninyo ang mga susunod nating hakbang. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!
