First case to be heard at the Tribunal today is AA vs INEC, APC and Tinubu
Counsel of AA is present Barr Adekunle Omoaje, INEC is represented by Barr May who is a Director in INEC
Barr Lalong (Plateau Gov) is representing Tinubu for this case

The Judge has told Lalong he cannot represent Tinubu because “you cannot represent an individual and as a lawyer you should know that”.
So Lalong has stated he would now represent APC.

There are lines that should NEVER be crossed in the name of politics.

Duplicating someone’s passport should NEVER happen, no matter how much you hate the person.

The effect of messing with a national passport would be devastating for ALL Nigerians.

Normally, you aren’t required to do biometrics when you travel with your passport, they just scan it to see if it’s authentic. With this issue, they’d have to verify the passport holder either via biometrics or even DNA to be sure it’s the real person.

Coupled with the fact that the Inec Presido is being talked about globally as a drug person, foreign govts would not want the risk of Nigerians coming to their countries, committing crimes and claiming that it’s their clone that did it.

We are already an international joke, a country where bank accounts are now legal entities and can be sued or sue. We don’t need more reasons for the world to make jest of us.

This should be a frontline national issue at the moment. It’s not a joke. Those involved MUST be tried and sent to jail, and the NIS must give a statement, clarifying this.
