It’s interesting how two months ago, Vozinha didn't have a club. Forty years old, a free agent, and had spent nineteen years in leagues most people have never watched a single minute of.
Then Cape Verde make their first ever World Cup, he delivers exceptionally, and in the match against Spain. Made Seven saves, clean sheet and won Man of the match. Went from 45K followers to about 30 Million.
Now Colo Colo want him.
And the part worth noting is that, He didn't get good in June. He was already this good. He'd been this good for nineteen years, in stadiums with nobody in them. This time a lot of people just happened to be filming and watching.
The World Cup didn't make him. It just pointed a camera at what was already there.
Think about how close he came to never being seen. Cape Verde don't qualify, he retires quietly next year, and none of us ever learn his name. Same saves. Same hands. No stage.
You don't get to pick when your chance shows up. You only get to pick whether you're any good when it does.
So be good now. While it's quiet. While there's no reason to and nobody's watching.
Because by the time the camera's on, it's already too late to start.
A few minutes ago, I sent the attached letter to the ECNBA in relation to the issues surrounding the NBA general elections earlier scheduled for today.
When many of us first took the oath, we carried more than our wigs and gowns. We carried hope.
Hope for a profession that would challenge us, grow us, and stand with us through every stage of our journey.
But for too many lawyers, that hope has gradually given way to disappointment. They have paid their dues, shown up year after year, and given their best to the profession, yet they have never truly felt the support of the Bar they belong to.
That reality cannot be ignored.
This campaign is not about pretending those experiences never happened. It is about acknowledging them and committing to something better.
A Bar that listens before it speaks. A Bar that supports before it asks. A Bar that creates opportunities, protects its members, and restores confidence in our collective future.
Because every lawyer deserves to feel that the Bar stands with them.
Together, we will #ElevateTheBar.

In all of these, Yemi Akangbe SAN is banking on your votes. He’s not asking you to forget his past, he’s not trying to disenfranchise you through the courts, he’s saying, look at my track records, I have done it before and I will do it again.
Vote @OmoyemiAkangbe
Why are people allowed to pose for pictures with thumb printed ballot paper in the Ekiti Gubernatorial election?
I thought we are still practicing secret ballot voting🤔
