I’ve seen so many videos of men on TikTok complaining about the declining birth rates in the world and I’m so happy I’ve not yet seen any woman complain about it, and this drop isn’t about fertility issues but women deciding they don’t wanna have kids and they meant it.

Men are calling women selfish for choosing themselves rather than been frequent at the labour room to force out a child, if men are so fixated on having kids they should make use of their ribs to make a baby.

Someone will see that and marry him tomorrow. His wife will not be able to pursue her career or drive a car because he believes women should not have such access.

This reminds me of the woman who started limping after the birth of her 2nd daughter, now her husband has abandoned her with the two kids and marry another woman.

The woman said her hospital told her they could do a correctional surgery for her but her husband insists thats he does not have money for that but he has money to marry another wife.

If I don’t want a child, I am not having one. I will not give birth because someone wants me to. The knowledge that I can be abandoned at anytime is enough for me to choose myself.

Like after rain beat the hell out of my mummy on our journey from Nsukka to Ihiala (she even fell sick) so that I can take my Nursing exam. The numerous times she risked her life on the dangerous roads of Nsukka to Mkar, Gboko Benue state so I can take my nursing exams. I will ask a man permission before I can give her money?

As in the Parents who made sure I never worked a day in my life throughout my University? As in my parents who paid for all 3 of my professional exams and licenses? The ones who made sure I never repeated a request twice in my life?

As in my parents who made sure I never squatted with anyone in my life? As in my mother who makes sure that even till this day well into my adulthood, I HAVE NEVER PAID ANYTHING CALLED RENT (I don’t even know what it feels like to stress over rent)
