#WATCH | Delhi: Chennai, Tamil Nadu: On Congress leader Saifuddin Soz's statement, BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan says, “Senior Congress leader Saifuddin Soz preposterously demanding the restoration of Article 370 is clearly batting for Pakistan's perilous agenda…the timing of the Congress leader's anti-national remarks just a mere coincidence? Because these separatist remarks by the Congress leader have been made just a day after Rahul Gandhi returned from his secret trip abroad, and at a time when the parliament session is now about to commence…is this the official stand of the Congress party? And do Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge agree with and accept the divisive remarks? The Congress party needs to come clean before the people. Article 370 was a colossal blunder by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Both Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar opposed Article 370. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 corrected the historical wrong committed by Nehru by abrogating Article 370 and ensuring Jammu and Kashmir became an inseparable and integral part of India…”
#WATCH | AMMK general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran says, "I am supporting AIADMK. I have submitted this letter in support of Edappadi Palaniswami to form the Govt. Our MLA Kamaraj has also signed it and sent it through my secretary. When I saw TVK, I was shocked. because there was some other letter - maybe a forged letter, or it may be horse-trading. I called up my MLA, but I was not able to reach him...He signed this letter around 6.30 pm and sent it here. When I saw on TV that our party had supported Vijay, I was shocked. So, I got an appointment with the Governor and I have submitted the letter to him, asking him to investigate that. I feel it is forged or horse trading...He should not allow this..."
Chennai: Keralam Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala says, "Operation Toofan has received the wholehearted support of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay. He has expressed his readiness to deploy police personnel along the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border and, at the same time, to facilitate intelligence sharing and information sharing. Subsequently, he convened a meeting with all senior police officers and secretaries. During the meeting, he directed them to further strengthen Operation Toofan. It was decided to bring the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border completely under police surveillance, ensure mutual sharing of information, and strengthen intelligence exchange. The overall atmosphere was highly encouraging. He told me that he himself had participated in a marathon run against drug abuse. I requested him to visit Keralam. Actor Mohanlal is Operation Toofan's brand ambassador. Vijay has agreed to come. The Home Department has decided to organise a major programme in Ernakulam featuring both Mohanlal and Vijay, with Keralam Chief Minister VD Satheesan also participating. I express my special gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay for agreeing to join hands with us in this major fight against narcotic drugs. In the coming days, the Keralam Police and the Tamil Nadu Police will move forward with a strong fight against this mafia by effectively exchanging information and intelligence."
Chennai: CPI(M) State Secretary P. Shanmugam says, "I would like to convey my appreciation to the Chief Minister. On the 9th of this month, a new Government Order was issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu. In Karur district, lands located in four villages had been registered by the Registration Department in the past as temple lands. There is a misconception that all Inam lands are temple lands. Hindutva organisations and groups such as the RSS have been promoting this false narrative. Through the courts, they created as many obstacles as possible for the people. In the case concerning Ketha Kesaval village in Karur, an order has been issued stating that the four Inam lands are not temple lands. We express our appreciation for this. Similarly, the Supreme Court has ordered that forest-dwelling communities should be evicted. It has also stated that if those people do not vacate the area, Central Armed Police Forces should be deployed to remove them. This is strongly condemnable."

On Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, he says, "In the last one month, he has done so much for the people. The people are happy with that... It is a very transparent government. The state will progress under this leadership."
#WATCH | Chennai, Tamil Nadu: BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan says, "Rahul Gandhi has been a transparency dodger and an accountability evader. He is the LOP. Rahul Gandhi is the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, which is why our nation and our people have the right to expect transparency regarding Rahul Gandhi's furtive, secretive trips... In the past, many a time when Rahul Gandhi has gone abroad, he has been seen gallivanting with India haters, blatant India baiters and people who peddle an open anti-India agenda... If there is nothing to hide for Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, why are they afraid to reveal the details of Rahul Gandhi's foreign trip?..."
#WATCH | Chennai | DMK leader TKS Elangovan says, "Vijay (Tamil Nadu CM) is not an educationist, so why should his photos be put up in schools? He is not a scholar, but an actor. I think they (TVK) are doing it on instructions from the RSS-BJP to spoil school education in Tamil Nadu."
