Today, I joined national leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alongside well-meaning Nigerians, to protest against the undemocratic practice of restricting political participation, an act allegedly orchestrated by the ruling party in collaboration with INEC, to prevent the ADC from contesting the 2027 elections.
I am encouraged by the resolve and determination of Nigerians to demand free, fair, and credible elections in 2027, and to hold the ruling party accountable at the polls. It is evident that citizens are growing weary of a government that appears to deepen poverty while prioritising the interests of the rich and powerful.
Mr. President @officialABAT@PBATMediaCentre@realDonaldTrump pls note that Nigerian public & International community can read you like a book, the apparent muzzling of opposition tactics via INEC is but a precursor to electoral violence for which you will be held responsible
โThis Message Is To My Fellow Yorubas And Nigerians: Your Lives And Future Are Being Destroyed By APC And Tinubu. Before You Attack Me, Know That I Have Nothing To Lose I Am Extremely Wealthy And Successful. We Are Calling On You All To Come Together Against These Cancerous Politicians. Tinubu Is a Bad And Evil Leader Who Rigged His Way Into Power, And He Must Be Voted Out By 2027 By Any Means Necessary. Nigerian Youth This Is a Time To Come Together And Fight As One To Kick Out Tinubu.โ ~ Abayomi Mighty

@AAdeleke_01 The last last time I checked @AAdeleke_01 governors have immunity and ministers don't. Nothing you do on behalf of the people can cost you a second term in office only what you don't do could.
I was asked a question about the origin of the word Egusi by a Nigerian of Southeast origin. After my innocent response, I have received a barrage of insults, abuses and threats.
Please find attached an entry from the book Dictionary Of The Yoruba Language: English-Yoruba, Yoruba-English. This a 1913 edition of the book previously published in the Nineteenth Century by the Church Mission Society, an agency of the Church of England.
The book is also available online, from where I got this page.
Please find the word Egusi highlighted in red. I vow to pay โฆ10 million to those who have been insulting me if they can show me an Igbo dictionary predating this book, which has an entry for the word 'Egusi' or 'Egwusi'.
The Igbo lexicon contains many Lukumi words in Igbo because the first book in the Igbo language, which incidentally was a dictionary, was written by a Lukumi man named Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther. It is titled Isoama-Ibo: A Primer, published in 1857. Bishop Crowther introduced several Lukumi words into the Igbo language.
Answering a question posed to me on the origin of the word Egusi does not mean that I hate Igbo. History is history. It does not love or hate anyone.
My documentary on the Igbo origin of Tobagan patois spoken in Tobago was aired on television. Can a man make a documentary to validate a people he hates?
Thanks again, and may God bless you.

You may not have historical figures worthy of praise and admiration, but that does not mean that others should denigrate their own icons so that you do not feel insecure.
When Madame Efunroye Tinubu had this picture taken in the 1860s, she was a self-made woman who had amassed the greatest fortune of any woman in West Africa. She used her wealth to fight the British for Lagos's independence and save Egbaland from Dahomey.
Look at how richly she is attired. This was at a time when some people were completely butt naked.
Do you think it was easy for a woman to have over three hundred staff in the 19th Century?
Madame Efunroye Tinubu was not just a mercantile politician. She was also one of the pioneers of industrial agriculture in Nigeria. The place now known today as Igbobi, where we have the National Orthopaedic Hospital, was her property.
She owned the land and cultivated kolanuts there. The area became known as Igbo-obi, which means forest of kola nut in Yoruba. The government bought Igbo-obi from her, and the locality gradually became known as Igbobi.
And you say that a woman of such epoch-defining qualities should not be honoured because you are offended? If the biopic offends you, then please do not watch it!
