U.S. President Donald Trump on Iran:
"Just over the last couple months with the protests, they killed at least 32,000 protesters. They already developed missiles that can threaten Europe and our bases overseas, and they're working to build missiles that will soon reach the United States of America. We are in negotiations with them, they wanna make a deal but we haven’t heard those secret words we will never have, a nuclear weapon, my preference."
Dear @elonmusk
As an Iranian, I am formally requesting that you place a gray checkmark on the account of Crown Prince @PahlaviReza, as he is the official leader of Iranians and Iran. Millions of unarmed civilians in Iran are shouting his name and “Javid Shah” (Long Live the King), and this should be respected.
Many of my fellow Iranians will agree.
Thank you for your consideration.
Kind regards,
Ek

Three years ago, the Islamic Republic executed Majidreza Rahnavard for participating in protests. The interrogator who had read his will beforehand, hoping to discredit him in the eyes of religious Iranians, asked him in front of the camera what he had written in his will.
Majidreza replied: I don’t want people to cry at my funeral. I don’t want Qur’an recitations or prayers. I want happy music to be played and people to celebrate.
Today, three years later, the families of those killed by the Islamic Republic no longer recite the Qur’an or prayers at their children’s funeral. Instead, they play happy music and celebrate. They say their children were killed in the cause of freedom—something to be honored and celebrated.
We are witnessing a renaissance in Iran; one that Majidreza Rahnavard ignited.
