It really feels like we’re discouraged to emphasize on our regional identity in Hip Hop as Zimbabwean artists. Repping BYO Hip Hop is kinda looked at in a limiting way where as in South Africa artists rep Pretoria Hip Hop and its seen and respected. Maybe I’m deepisaring 😅
