@CBCEarlyEdition Shot with the smartphone, decent photos are possible with the thing and it's a pretty simple technique to learn as well. As an example: switch camera to manual > spot meter > and learn how exposure location in frame affects outcome. Experiment and have fun, be creative!
@CBCGloria Hey CBC, you have folks who listen to CBC in the Bellingham area freaking out with the news that ALL Washington State schools are closed for 14 days.....just Seattle so far near as anyone can tell....

@MetBrett Beckey also has some amazing accounts of first ascent routes of some of the best climbing in the Southern BC Cascades; Mt. Sleese to Cathedral Peaks etc. OK. I go tomorrow! Nothing like the fall colors and aromas with a bit of snow and ice to top it off.
@MetBrett Mr. Soderholm. You are brilliant on radio and TV, keep at it. You are a very refreshing change to the occasionally stuffy CBC environment (dependant on the program, the events of the day and your state of mind). Thank-you!
PS: Look South into WA. for amazing climbs!
@MetBrett If you are into the full meal Alpine type event (all aspects, glacier, rock, skiing if you hanker, etc.) consider Shuksan. It is an amazing experience. Then I'd find a Fred Beckey book on the North Cascades and take Hwy 2 from Everett to Wenatchee. Countless amazing climbs!
@ZcohenCNN Trump is wrong again: Late 2015 - The first American ground troops enter Syria โ initially 50, growing to the current official total of about 2,000. He claimed way different.
