@BizCouncilAB@WestJet@AHoensbroech Very true. Canadians know what they want and it’s not to be harassed on an airplane and they speak up when a company does wrong @BizCouncilAB did you ask about how @WestJet handles disrespect from its staff to passengers? This is something people would like to know.
Hey @AHoensbroech@WestJet you had a chance to speak up and do something about this issue but you chose to be silent. Your social media team turns off comments, blocks and deletes messages. This is the way a CEO deals with a public issue from a guest? People won’t forget this!
@WestJet@jhwfung No one is asking for personal information. We are asking that this type of situation where guests don’t feel disrespected and bullied never happens again. Is that what @AHoensbroech expects guests to feel?
@jhwfung@WestJet They are hoping people will forget and forgive. My family and I will also not be flying with them. It’s sad to think that they feel being disrespectful is ok.
@WestJet@CharletChung Over a week and you try and send someone a message on social media about their experience. If a guest had a problem why aren’t you calling or emailing them? No, you get the social media person who is probably making minimum wage to handle it 🤦♀️ @AHoensbroech
Hey @WestJet you care so much about your guests that you give them silence while you take a week to better understand the situation. You ONLY care about what your employees’ side of the story. Example of the disrespect a large company can get away with.
@littleaspenjade We're taking all appropriate measures to better understand the situation and will follow up accordingly.

@AHoensbroech@WestJet Onboarding plan- First agenda item: fire PR team and flight crew that do not make guests feel safe or respected. Second agenda item: deliver respectful workplace training to all employees. Third agenda item: read the book The Speed of Trust. If not followed, you will fail.
Do better @WestJet, this canned PR response is not good enough. As an Asian woman who always flies with you, this behaviour does not make me feel safe getting on your planes.
@j3nnyp3nny We are taking all appropriate measures internally and will follow up accordingly.
