I've been listening to an interview by @peacefmonline with some officials of customs and I'm beginning to think that the calculation done during the calculation of duties is somehow overrated. Lemme explain, they said l, they use the manufacturer price plus ur purchase price 🤔.

@peacefmonline They would see that @GhanaRevenue Customs has the duty prices so high because of these double pricing. I stand to be corrected, but I'm drawing these ascensions from what I heard from the interview.

@peacefmonline Now these two prices puts the value of the vehicle beyond the actual value of the vehicle and hence the high rate, even given the percentages they quoted. If what they said is really as it is. I challenge any good mathematician or auditor to check the calculations.
