When we got saved, our relationship to God which was severed by sin was restored. Jesus did the restoration, but it’s up to us to nurture that relationship. God would have us to have a very close relationship with Him. Don’t let God to just be a go-to when you need something.

It takes a generous heart to give to beggars. Why would I give somebody whom I don’t even know, the money that I worked hard for? However, it’s very easy to give that to whom I love dearly. Our un/willingness to sacrifice our resources for God reveals our love towards Him.

A good advertiser is one who really is convinced of the product that he’s selling. Your devotion towards Jesus will encourage others the same. That’s why it’s important to find somebody who encourages you to love Jesus and likewise desire to be an encouragement to someone.

This woman was asked by people what’s so special about her beloved because she talks of people about him and asking people about him. It ought to be obvious to the people around you that Jesus is special to you. Love and desire Jesus so much that it will affect your life.

Details matter. When God made the world, He didn’t just rabble everything into existence. He made it in a very orderly manner. The bigger picture would be more wonderful if you take care of the details, and you would appreciate beauty more if you dig in deeper with the details.

The reason why people don’t have what they should is that they don’t want it bad enough. They’re not willing to pay the price to get it. They just shrug off their shoulders and make excuses for their complacency or laziness. God would have us to diligently pursue what is right.

Don’t be overly skeptical. I understand how evil this world is and all should be subject to careful judgment. However, some just don’t seem to want to get fully involved in anything. If there’s one thing you can be sure where the waters are fine, it is the work of God. Get in!

I hate to have a young lady in love to have greater longing to the man she loves than I have for Jesus. A person who’s in love thinks of that person whole day. He takes every opportunity to be with her. He caters to her wants above his. How much do you desire God?

Results should not solely determine why we do things. I believe that even only one out of a hundred would be faithful to church, I still should be faithful to preach the Gospel and helping them to grow spiritually. Never mind the results. Just keep doing right!

I love the free will that God gave to man. Maybe there were times where He wanted to stop you from doing something knowing it will hurt you, but it’s against His character. God is not preventing you to do anything. Go have fun all you want, but you will reap whatever you’ll sow.

Sometimes, we wonder why we get so less efficiency with much effort. It may be that we didn’t do the necessary preparations. Pause and think whether there be a better way to get things done. Time spent sharpening the axe is not a time wasted. Work hardly and smartly!

Failure to execute immediate punishment to the guilty emboldens people to break the law. There are so many laws in the Philippines that aren’t being followed. That’s why people are getting slack. If you are in the position of leadership, don’t ignore those lawbreakers.

A very humbling truth. God would have us to increase wisdom, increase our strength, but that doesn’t guarantee us to win in life. The outcome always will be subject to God, and may tweak it howsoever He would. Just keep doing right, and leave the results to God.

Nobody sets out for failure. Almost everybody does what they genuinely believe will make them successful. However, there are actually things you thought are good, but actually would destroy and even causes you to die. Search for truth. Believing something strongly is not enough.

The longevity of your life is only worth if it is lived with quality. Nobody knows for sure when they will die, so it’s up to us to live each day to the fullest. Today is another day to live. Make sure you utilize every second of it!

What a gracious God! He enables us to work and to earn, and wants us to enjoy the fruit of our labor. Ayaw sig overtime, enjoy pud panagsa! This good time will increase your gratitude towards Him and give you motivation and prompt you to continue working.

We’re blessed with something our forefathers worked hard for. It would be a shame for us to squander what we have freely received. What an honor to inherit such great Biblical preaching and teaching! My job is to make sure that my pastor’s investment to me will not go into waste.

Life just goes on and on for ever. It’s a cruel world almost sometimes when something really tragic happened and you just want to cope up but you’re faced with the reality that there comes a point where you need to get back up. That’s why we have to be resolved to keep going.

If God looks at a group of people and said that this one excellest them all, that tells me that He has standards set. I want God to look at me and say, “This guy is the best among them.” This encourages me to study further what God expects and desires, and pray for grace.

This man asked for two things. You should be in a place where you despise vanity and lies. If television doesn’t bother you, you tolerate so much vanity and inappropriateness. The other one is to hate covetousness. You should be content being able to put food on the table
