How do women take care of themselves during mid-life, including menopause?
This anonymous 5-min survey will help @UniofOxford design some research.
Let them know which aspects of self-care you think are important how to share their findings: click here https://t.co/hPP2rR9s9I
We're planning some research about self-care options in mid-life. Please complete this brief survey. It'll take about 3 minutes. Thank you! https://t.co/5EEP2ghPgJ #Menopause#perimenopause
"Our new requirement requiring applicants to demonstrate how their research will address existing inequalities in health and social care as a condition of funding will be pivotal for NIHR research."
In this blog, NIHR Executive Directors Lisa Cotterill, Lynn Kerridge and David King reflect on the changes to our funding conditions, and how we will support the research community to deliver more inclusive research addressing existing inequalities in health and social care.

Tonight's panorama features work @jhb19 and I did with the BBC about products that claim to improve menopause symptoms. The programme reports on an investigation of concerns about the #menopause industry and is worth watching. @OxPrimaryCare@CebmOxford

@iamboylan @jhb19 @OxPrimaryCare@CebmOxford Thank you.
We would have liked this to have had more airtime to counter the commercialisation of menopause.
@clarky_on@BBCPanorama Surveys don't provide evidence of effectiveness of an intervention. They cannot be used to say if a drug works, for example. But they can be used to gather data on satisfaction with care or how many women find hysteroscopy painful. I hope this helps.
