My mom. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to use it. Somebody broke the screen and lied about it.

Then in 2020, my benefactor gave me one for my final year project. I used it until I sold it this year and I got one for myself.

Started saving about a year ago. I didn't know what I'll eventually do with the money, so I called it 'investment funds.' Ff to now, my old laptop got bad and I sold it as scrap. I need to replace it. Guess what? My 'investment funds' in @piggyvest will help me achieve that.

Those days, there used to be Ikwa Afang (Afang knife) in every Akwa Ibom households.

Ikwa Afang is special. You don't use it to cut onions or any simple thing.

On days when your own is not sharp, you can borrow from your neighbor and it is also a special knife.

If you want to provoke your mother, use the knife to cut onions or pepper and let her come and catch you.

He eyes is yet to properly heal but I'm sure that with the constant eyedrop application (as prescribed), her eye will get better.

My sister got her surgery on Tuesday and we couldn't be more grateful that God saw her through.

When I posted this story on my WhatsApp status, many of my friends sympathetized with me and one of them came through for us, financially. I pray that God bless and replenish everyone of them.

My younger sister sent me this picture this evening. One of her eyes has been covered by cataract. This is so disheartening because I have always prayed that nothing bad should befall us.
