JUST IN: Senate President Vicente Sotto III says ex-DPWH District Engineer Brice Hernandez will be detained at the PNP custodial center instead of the Senate.

Sotto says this is to make sure that “he is safe.”

Hernandez will still be under the supervision of the Senate’s Office of Sergeant at Arms.

“To make sure he is safe but still in custody of the Senate, the Speaker and I agreed to place him in the PNP custodial center but under the supervision of the Senate OSSA,” says Sotto. | @charieabarcaINQ
