@TimRunsHisMouth Probably because us conservatives have finally realized that we don’t actually have representation. We either get the gay liberals or the less gay liberals for our choices.
I actually like to hear from the people that the media tells me should be my enemy. If we are going to end up in a world war (which seems more likely everyday) shouldn’t we want to know what the reasons are from someone other than Mark Levin and corporate media?
Also, here is the cycle: Tucker does a podcast. Neocons freak out for 3 days calling him every name and saying he’s paid by some foreign country (used to be Qatar, then Russia, sometimes Iran, etc.). Then they call him dangerous and a traitor. Rinse. Repeat.
I’m not looking just at this year. Yes, it would be a fun ride if we get peak Kyler and make a run. I’m looking long term though. Paying an above average qb elite money was the reason the Cousins era didn’t work.
There’s about 3-4 guys that can break the bank and carry a team. Then you get to the Dak/Purdy tier where they are very productive but can’t carry less talent when there’s no cap left. That’s what I see this turning into if Kyler balls out and gets the bag. Lots of fun but still not sniffing a SB.
@MIvikesfan@TPPSkol@AlbertBreer There were reports that he was offered a 3 year, team friendly deal and turned it down to play one year and bet on himself. That doesn’t sound like someone looking to be paid in the second or third tier of qb’s.
I disagree. If it’s close you go JJ for team control in the future. Kyler will be an unrestricted free agent so best case would be we have to break the bank in a bidding war or else he’ll be gone and we’re back to only having JJ after sitting another year. For the longer term vision, JJ needs to get better
Good point. Brady wasn’t taking the bag because he could have because he knew he needed talent. Lots of reports said he finally left because he was taking discounts and they still weren’t paying other guys. You think Kyler is giving a discount in his new contract? Of course not so you’re actually proving my point.
I agree whole heartedly with your last paragraph. Kyler played for a garbage franchise however he wasn’t able to elevate his team either. He is a talent but we have to remember there is a reason a team is paying him 30 million plus to go away. Was it diminishing skills? Lack of leadership? Just a franchise wanting to reset? I don’t know.
The only thing worse than having terrible qb play is paying top dollar for mediocre qb play. Keenum rode a great team to an NFC Championship with a loaded roster. Kirk could barely win a playoff game.
So you would be good with paying Kyler, a smaller qb with injury history, that will be 30 soon, hasn’t been that good for the past 4 years-50-60 million per year after a good season this year?
With a tiny contract this year, I agree he can ball out. He’ll have the best wr group in football. When he gets the bag, they’ll have to let good players go. He’s proven he can’t carry a franchise. Welcome to the Cousins era 2.0 if he signs long term.
Best case is JJ improving (it’s possible for 22-23 yo players to improve) and have at least 1-2 more years with team friendly contract to build around à la Eagles/Hurts SB model.
@cs77096@LauraLoomer Just imagine how many people this logic has applied to since the beginning of time. Ever heard of kings and queens? Dictators? But whatever lol
@DavidLimbaugh@LauraLoomer This is so dumb. Obviously Levin and Larry are the mouthpiece for them. In other words, they are Israel. Easy enough to understand?
@LauraLoomer@alexbruesewitz Totally aside but isn’t it really weird that you watermark your name on Tucker’s podcast? It makes it even more weird that you tweet nonstop about him all day everyday yet you put your name on his content? That’s psycho level weird to me
