If you want to run Clipitbot in your channel, use the open source Python version. It has the same features as the original but it's intended to be run by the broadcaster. All the details are in the README: https://t.co/vIstNoe92j
814 content creators have added clipitbot to their channel. These are the clip stats since I launched the service in 2018. September 2023 is a partial month, obviously.
@yockdog Yeah - mine is a Ninja I think and if I cook wings, the fat tends to smoke a bunch when they get crispy. Seriously considered moving it outside but the hood has been working
So was it worth it? It took a while to sell (about 4 months), but I wasn’t in any rush, so for me it was worth it. Requiring local pickup and not wanting to ship it was my biggest issue. I think FB could do better at making it clear it’s local pickup only.
Trying out the Facebook Marketplace to sell a green screen and mounting system that I used to have mounted in my basement office. Meeting a potential buyer soon. Curious how smooth this process is going to end up … updates to follow.
The person who ended up buying from me asked if the price was negotiable, I said I had a little bit of wiggle room because I had it listed for a few months with not a ton of legit interest. He ended up needing it for his family business and we agreed on a reasonable price.
The listing process is pretty good. After you enter all the necessary info, you can list it in whichever marketplaces you want and I had quite a few people interested. My issue was that it was local pickup only so I had people all over the world asking if it was still available.
