Rio Ngumoha will play enough football irrespective of whoever Liverpool signs at LW. One thing we shouldn't do is make him the first choice. Currently, he cannot handle that pressure physically.
If Rio becomes a starter he’ll be judged like one too. And he won’t like that.
Let’s not go overboard here. He’s special but he needs to pace himself. Don’t see why fans have gone 0-100 on him so quickly. #relax
Sterling was already 20 before his City move and was obviously more experienced. The pressure wasn't much on Sterling bcos we were just decent in 2 of the 3 seasons he played regularly. The other season he wasn't the main man so no pressure on him. You lot want Rio to be d Star
Sterling was 17-19 old in these seasons and he was still getting massive game time and then went to City and WON multiple trophies while been vital player(PATHWAY). Rio doesn’t need to be the main man, that’s why we have Isak, Wirtz and co. He just needs the right environment
I love Rio but he hasn't shown what Yamal showed in his early days to be getting shouted as almost a shoe-in for the LW position. Let's be serious please.
Liverpool have to be very careful. Ngumoha pathway can’t be blocked or he’ll be gone. Personally would go for a cheaper runner type LW like Abde to rotate with Nguomha. And go huge on the RW (Diomande). Ekitike is another consideration as he can defo play LW well, with Isak 9.
1. Sterling has 3 full seasons under his belt before the City move. 2. Liverpool weren't title challengers, except the freak Suarez season and Sterling wasn't the main man. so it was ok to accept his performances,
I disagree with you bro. This is how Sterling was moving back then and “money” took him to Man City. I’ve seen enough bro. He can become way better next season if he has that strong mentality for it and avoid injuries.
@Tony_ugofitness@SaltrockD The only anomaly he had was 2024/2025. Every other season was pretty much the same. The issue last season was that he wasn't getting enough quantity/quality chances.

@Tony_ugofitness@SaltrockD Does he have a conversation ratio of 20% or more? If not, then you have your answer.
I know he's somewhere around 13% - 15% so he's definitely not poor.
Personally Rio has shown enough definitely not on Yamal level but he has shown enough. My only concern is that the the physicality and intensity of the PL can ruin him. If we don’t manage him well he’ll be finished by 26
This game is a classic example of why this new World Cup format is a waste of everyone's time. If Scotland win this they're through. In a four team group neither would have a hope in hell vs Brazil and Morocco. FIFA creating a round of 32 for money when there will be massacres.
I don't even think he can deliver how Diaz did in 2024/25 when he swapped with Gakpo at the moment. Let's allow him to grow.
He should also allow himself to grow slowly and not let advisers get into his head and make him feel like Lamine 2.0.
@Tony_ugofitness@SaltrockD That's the thing. You don't need to be clinical enough to score tonnes. So long as you're not <10% conversation rate you're good.
Brazil has not had a good World Cup since 2002. 2006 the old guards were mostly washed, 2010 they were underwhelming. 2014 they were just ok. Wanted to scam their way to the Trophy but Germany humbled them. 2018 they were average. 2022 they were slightly better but still 😞
