When we hailed Kwankwaso for investing billions in people’s lives to get quality education, you didn’t tag us hater, now we’re calling out a program that will cause more children out of school, poverty and insecurity, we’re suddenly haters of the north.
@egi_nupe Not every criticism is an attack. Some is feedback, some is perspective, some is care poorly expressed.

AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING AT THE NBA YENAGOA BRANCH LAW DINNER AND AWARD NIGHT
As I reflect on the entire Law Week, I am filled with admiration for what the Yenagoa Branch has achieved. From the quality of the sessions to the flawless execution of every activity, this was an event delivered to truly world class standards.
The Dinner and Award Night was simply outstanding. It brought together elegance, fellowship, celebration and the enduring spirit of the Bar in a truly remarkable way. It was heartwarming to see lawyers come together to connect, celebrate excellence and reaffirm our shared commitment to the legal profession.
I extend my profound appreciation to the Chairman, the Law Week Planning Committee and every member of the NBA Yenagoa Branch for setting a remarkable standard of excellence. Your dedication, hospitality, attention to detail and commitment to success were evident throughout the week.
We laughed together, networked meaningfully, celebrated achievements and created memories that will endure long after the curtains have fallen on this year’s Law Week.
Yenagoa did not merely host a Law Week. Yenagoa delivered an experience. The warmth of the reception, the quality of the programmes and the excellence of the organisation combined to create an atmosphere that was both inspiring and unforgettable.
Congratulations to the entire Branch for a truly exceptional outing. The Nigerian Bar is stronger because of branches like yours, whose commitment to excellence continues to elevate our profession and inspire confidence in the future.

Candidate, NBA Presidential Election
@LegalNaija The evidence points to a coordinated fraud involving forged documents, diverted company funds routed through a ghost account, and suspicious transfers to the finance head’s wife, with forensic analysis confirming the signature was a practiced forgery, not Kelechi’s.
@LegalNaija The investigation suggests possible identity fraud involving a BVN-linked bank account with forged KYC documents and internal company involvement, potentially implicating the Head of Finance in authorizing suspicious payments.
@LegalNaija If Kelechi Eze was taken by plainclothes individuals without a warrant or disclosed legal authority, that conduct on its face amounts to an unlawful arrest and a serious violation of his constitutional rights under Nigerian law, particularly the right to personal liberty.
@LegalNaija Invocation of Section 35 forced immediate legal pressure on the station, shifting Kelechi’s case from informal detention into a constitutional compliance issue where the police now had to justify his continued custody or risk being compelled to grant bail or produce him in court.
@LegalNaija Kelechi is formally charged with obtaining money by false pretences despite his denial, bail is set far beyond his means at ₦15 million, and his wife Adaeze is left scrambling for help after being denied access to him in detention.
@LegalNaija The detective presents evidence linking Kelechi to a ₦13.7 million contract fraud scheme, but Kelechi denies any knowledge of the account or transactions, suggesting his identity may have been used to commit fraud.
@LegalNaija As counsel, I would state that detaining Mr. Eze for hours incommunicado without access to counsel, charge, or judicial authorization constitutes an unlawful deprivation of liberty and a breach of his constitutional right to dignity and fair hearing under Nigerian law.
@LegalNaija If he was taken by plainclothes individuals without a warrant or disclosed legal authority, that conduct, on its face, amounts to an unlawful arrest and a serious violation of his constitutional rights under Nigerian law, particularly the right to personal liberty and due process
