I was proud to represent the City of Westminster in discussing the dedication of Charlie Kirk Way.

@charliekirk11 stood for Freedom of Speech, and ultimately was assassinated while exercising that right on a college campus. Until I escaped Vietnam, I lived under communism where there was no freedom of speech, which is why I was so inspired by Charlie, and why I led the fight to change the name of our street to Charlie Kirk Way.

Thank you Charlie, for inspiring so many of us with your love of country, your dedication to freedom, and your unwavering Christian faith. Our prayers continue to be with @MrsErikaKirk and her beautiful family.
