I really don’t think there’s anything quite like creating.
It has such power
Really enjoying trying to learn new skills on @Procreate and keeping up with the pupils!
This is a quick study of some waves I’ve done, trying to make my digital work more painterly #educhat
@missboustead2 I did this one last year with my classes and they absolutely loved it! My mind still can’t work out how the PowerPoint was made 😂

@farrar_miss @MrTs_NQTs If my assemblies fall on a topic like this, I also like to set up a collection for Food Bank- not sure if you can but it’s a nice link to contributing to the community your school is in
I make it clear that art is a skill.
If you practice regularly, you get better.
It is the same as football.
No one has ever got better a football by NOT doing football.
It is the same for art.'

I found the journal article on teaching Welsh by @dr_kevinsmith and @DrMirainRhys for today’s @ITEcardiffmet meeting so inspiring, that I just sent my first email yn gymraeg!
Did a massive plug for @DailyWelshWords too 🏴
@missjnt2310@MrTs_NQTs As a mentor, I really appreciate (and know the pupils appreciate) teachers taking an interest in the pupils. I completely understand your worry, but I think talking about their school day/hobbies etc is essential to building a rapport and therefore your teaching. You’ll be fab!
@LHSArtandDesign@S2LHSYT @MrsWilsonLHS I love these- they look brilliant! Did they make them physically and then digital manipulate afterwards, or are they digital? I love what’s happening around the edges of the images too
