@AmericanAir Flight AA1249 has been one of the WORST travel experiences I’ve ever had. First, I was charged additional baggage fees for luggage that was only 3 pounds overweight. I then boarded to find myself seated directly across from a dog occupying a seat on the flight despite having a dog allergy.
After informing the flight attendant about my allergy, I was told to ask other passengers to switch seats with me. When I expressed that I felt neglected and that this was poor customer service, I was then told that I could simply wait for the next flight.
Had I remained in that seat, I would have been sneezing throughout the flight and dealing with an itchy nose and allergy symptoms. No passenger should have to choose between their health and reaching their destination.
I work hard for my money and expect to be treated with respect and have legitimate health concerns taken seriously. This experience was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. The dismissive attitude from the flight attendant had me appalled and disgusted. I expect a response. #AA1249 #AmericanAirlines
