🧠 Built to help students actually learn, not just get answers
And we’re building with the latest advances in AI. @OpenAI literally released the technology powering part of this demo yesterday. Here’s a sneak peek at what learning with How To Student feels like. Let me know what you think!
@HarvardHBS just sent an email to all students and professors about my startup, @iamhowtostudent. What better place to transform education than @Harvard!
My goal is to give every student a personalized education with an AI tutor. Imagine if you could talk to your math teacher any time you like. Well, now you don't have to imagine with How To Student.
Immensely grateful to Harvard for supporting me!
We built an edtech system where 500+ AI agents work together to create a single practice exam.
Some generate the questions. Others create explanations. And a much larger group independently attacks the work from different angles, searching for anything that could make the exam inaccurate, unclear, or broken.
Every potential issue is escalated to our most powerful model, which serves as the final judge. If it confirms a problem, the system repairs the affected piece and sends it through validation again. Once the exam is rendered, hundreds of multimodal agents inspect the actual student experience for visual, layout, and rendering failures.
The system is also built for the unglamorous reality of production AI: APIs time out, connections fail, and LLMs sometimes produce unusable results.
Hundreds of AI agents specialize, challenge one another, recover from failure, and collectively produce an exam better than what 99.9999% of humans could create alone.
Why go this far? Because students deserve the best with @iamHowToStudent.
A school district told me they want to use ClassLink with our platform on Friday. We completed our integration on Saturday. We were approved in less than a week. Their team really made it feel like magic.
So excited to support more schools with this partnership! @iamhowtostudent 💚💙 @ClassLink

Personalized tutoring for everyone, from How To Student.
My first podcast! We talked about why I started @iamhowtostudent, what I have learned building an education company as a solo founder, and how we are using AI to give students more personalized academic support.
It was a great opportunity to reflect on the journey so far, from building the first version of the product to working with schools and students across the country.
Thank you to the team for having me!
I just launched my first open-source project: a new way to explore U.S. high school academic standards. The original dataset was built by Learning Commons with support from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and @Anthropic. Their work created an incredible foundation, and we are excited to make it even better!
The result is a production-grade dataset covering all 50 states and Washington, D.C., with structured high school standards, corrected and normalized content, and mappings from broad standards to specific learning components. It is designed to help educators and education companies build more accurate, personalized learning experiences.
While this will soon be available on @iamhowtostudent, we also want to contribute to this amazing ecosystem and help everyone, even our competitors, make education better for every student.

Today I am sharing something publicly for the first time. Over the past year, I have been quietly building an AI-powered ACT prep platform designed to help schools give every student access to personalized learning and tutoring. https://t.co/ZPncMk5s2R
