@tickerade@ADZanderWest We both know that the 0.96% is going to (rightly) be passed on in the rent fee - you said so yourself. I don't see how not owning a property means tenants should effectively have to pay twice the amount of tax as they would if they owned the same property, though.
@ariaclast Whoa. A man who traded in his credibility for a job with David Lammy might have misjudged how his thinking on Chagos would be widely received? Incredible.
@mr_james_c@AllisonPearson@wesstreeting https://t.co/SK762smucL? I hate it.
Multiple questions, incorrectly guesses your illness and is only really built for responding via mobile. I just use the automated telephone version instead.
@John_Stepek But a national emergency limited to England? Wales has been decreasing its SEN ID'd pupils in recent years following reforms.

@ArgosHelpers Hi - if I send a sales/customer service query via DM, is it actual Argos staff who'll respond or will it be the same outsourced team as your website's live chat? Thanks.
@HMRCcustomers Hi, could you please employ staff who know how to answer phone calls properly, rather than with "er..." and then end the call? It's frustrating after waiting in a long queue and having to start all over again. Thanks.
@HMRCcustomers Thanks for the quick reply, Tom.
I've had someone else on the same mobile network (TalkMobile/Vodafone) try and they get the same response - sounds like there's an issue with calls to HMRC from customers on that network or with HMRC accepting calls from it.
@RoyalMailHelp Hi - can you tell me which service is suitable where compensation needs to be claimed for pre-paid postage (eg for document returns)? Apparently I can't claim on Tracked labels I've paid for and arranged because I'm not the sender, so what's my best option?
