The Aygyle Hotrl meeting was between Baba snd MPs in the National Assembly only. No single senator attended - not even Sifuna.
Though disguised as a meeting to brief MPs on preparations for @TheODMparty @20 celebrations, Baba in fact called the meeting to rally MPs to support privatization of Kenya Pipeline Corporation, Safaricom and the pessage of the Privatization Bill.

You see, Baba had decided to support Ruto and he spoke with clarity about the Broad Based Government going beyond 2027 during the burial of Dr. Phoebe Asiyo and in several other meetings. But this had not been formally ratified by the Party as there were pending implementation of theten-point agenda MoU of the Broad Based Government and pre-election coalition negotiations with Ruto and UDA. Baba advised we should not commit the party before formal resolutions as this would take away his/our LEVERAGE in the pre-election negotiations.
