@Faizan_Khan38@F1 Car characteristics can make certain things more easier or more difficult. It's a bit simple to say, but usually if they're not trying it, it's likely because the car is just not compliant enough to do it, and they lose time anyway if the force the issue
@Imarneee Yes, but she seems to lack the burst of pace that is sometimes required in counter pressing/ball recoveries/covering transitions. Also she's not always moving to create the angle in buildup. Maybe she can move quicker in the league, so let's see by the Charlton game
@Ee_mperor@JaydeMayaHinata Same idea, yes, but the application (between the two) still has a gap. She'll definitely need at least Hini's level of mobility to play the position. I'm willing to see her start there after the break, against Charlton should be a good opportunity, then we'll see how she manages
@footy_work I think a bit harsh on Teri. She did her bit with the pressing and holdup. She's just not getting the ball enough, you could see the final passes were poor, she got one clean look the entire game and decided to strike, can't blame a striker for backing themself in that situation
@sofiaonhere Yep, like the manager was saying, they seem to be thinking too much about what balls to play and then executing them poorly. A couple of patterns worked on in training should help. Overall like what the manager is trying to do, just hope they can help the players do it well
@JaydeMayaHinata@Ee_mperor Bernal is clearly still coming up to the pace, in the cup games, she is moving too slowly, especially out of possession. Can imagine hence the manager hesitant to bring her on today. Toone for Simi was the right sub, but ideally they should have also had Bernal on for Hini/Ziggy
@sofiaonhere Yep. Work to be done on final 3rd actions. They did regress with the build up in the game (like last week), but they got the ball into the final 3rd enough times to have created more from it. Manager focus on helping them improve, the rest will be getting better attacking players
@Ee_mperor She appears to struggle a little bit more with the increased pace of the WSL, I think maybe some of her deficits playing deeper are now showing. If Bernal could become the starting 1st receiver (if she can be more mobile), then playing Hini as the 2nd receiver should be better
