Mi teoría con respecto a por qué Arsenal es uno de los equipos mas populares del mundo y genera tanto fervor en África y Sudamérica, es porque en plena era de la globalización, cuando las primeras imágenes de la Premier empezaban a trascender por el mundo, ellos fueron el club que mas apostó por erradicar el racismo en el fútbol.

Cuando las figuras del United, Liverpool, Tottenham eran casi todos blanquitos ingleses, Arsenal apostó por los Ian Wright, Sol Campbell, Anelka, Tití Henry, Vieira, Kanú, Wiltord, etc... Un equipo que no solo enamoraba por su forma de jugar, sino por su filosofía inclusiva que representa a millones alrededor del mundo.
