I agree with @MattWeaverRA and would take it a step further and say that it would be a good way to separate the Clash and the All-Star race.

Bring the full field for the Clash but make the All-Star be race winners and champions only with one entry from the All-Star Open.

@jeff_gluck Larson complains a lot. He isn’t completely wrong, though. The event (sometimes) lasts too long, but the races shouldn’t be shorter. It’s supposed to be the highest level of oval racing in the world and the races, and cars, should be the most difficult to manage
