I remember getting push back and downvotes for saying signals and hooks were a better state management solution in Flutter and now it seems people want to add them to the core framework. Glad people caught up to the rest of the declarative world.
Galaxy Fold 7 is fantastic hardware, but the weak point is still Android. Not weak enough to make me want to switch back to a slab phone just for iOS though.
@caseycrogers This is actually one of the reasons I switched. It will be great for travelling instead of lugging around an iPad as well. Also much better for ebooks.
It's sad watching the flutter dev subreddit passionately defending Bloc with made up "scalability" issues. Say one bad thing about and all of a sudden every app you ever built was not complex enough to be graced by bloc architecture.
@caseycrogers My struggle with UI work is it not wanting to default to in house design systems and just doing a bunch of stuff in pure flutter/material widgets. But I agree that it does not care about null safety in Dart.
