Celebrating 65 years of humans in space!
Today on the International Day of Human Space Flight, we honor the first flight into space made by Yuri Gagarin in 1961, as well as the first Space Shuttle launch in 1981.
The best is yet to come.
John Waters, who turns 80 on April 22, still wants to direct:

Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
As someone from one of the best climates on Earth (Southern California), people going insane for nice weather is unironically my favourite part of living in the UK
