The older I get, the more I believe happiness lives in the ordinary. Pets. Plants. A quiet morning coffee. Blue sky. Cotton clouds. Birds singing. The gentle breeze through the trees. A clean, cosy house. Good food. Good hearted simple poeple. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here. And somehow, one of the sweetest feelings is knowing I get to wake up and meet it all again tomorrow.
No battle has or will ever be won without sacrifice. People know what they want, just don't know what to sacrifice. Life is not a happy scene. Most things will hurt with or without your permission. But if you get the chance to chose your pain, don't fail to.
Learn to treat difficulties as red traffic lights on your way to your destination. It will soon change to amber and then green. Don’t say that red lights are not your portion. They are. The lights are not always green when you get to the traffic lights.
When you get to your destination, you will not even remember the red lights that you had to stop for, and when people ask you how you arrived, you will be able to answer “Na God.”
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
All my life, I've been carried by grace
Don't ask me how 'cause I can't explain
It's nothing short of a miracle I'm here
I've got some blessings that I don't deserve
I've got some scars, but that's how you learn
It's nothing short of a miracle I'm here
I think it over and it doesn't add up
I know it comes from above
I've got miracles on miracles
A million little miracles
“Pain teaches you what comfort cannot.”
