@GenePark and fwiw i think the price is probably justified for what it is but it’s going h2h with gaming PCs now. The digestible price of 300-500 isn’t there, which has always been a massive benefit of console vs. pc. but if the price is nearly the same…dunno
@GenePark seems like the dissuasion/meme around PS5 Pro is a bit of “I’d spend $700 on the thing if did [thing that it does not do]”. idk if the shown feature set is going to be enough to sell it, i’m interested to see how it does.
@dark1x love what you guys do at DF and always appreciate the authenticity - nothing about the way you present yourselves has ever come off as unprofessional to me.
@analogue I don’t think this fomo-style marketing celebrates/explores the history of gaming with the respect it deserves. Disappointing to see this, I’ll be waiting until efforts are shifted towards making the hardware readily available.
@Dansgaming oh ffs lol, it’s only a matter of time until these people are like ‘if you die in the game you should die irl’. wonder where these so-called purists draw the line.
@LukeStephensTV seems like a design decision. it was already *possible* in the game but quietly flying from one planet to another may not really be that fun. Also, the orbital zones that actually have things like stations and other ships are tiny, manually locating them would be impossible.
