Since Nicki Minaj entered this industry, she has done ten times more for the African American community as a Trinidadian American than most of you ever will. She has paid for African American funerals. She has fulfilled Make-A-Wish requests for ill African-American children. She has organized multiple turkey drives for Black families

She worked directly on prison reform with President Obama for the African American community. She donated money to the national bail fund through “Trollz.” She gave a 104-year-old African American woman a life changing gift. She donated $25,000 to Geoffrey Owens after the Black community shamed him after he was seen working at Trader Joe’s. She donated her entire MAC campaign earnings to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS, which disproportionately impacts African Americans. She has paid off thousands of dollars in student loans for African American students and that’s not even everything

So don’t ever try to use the rhetoric that she’s a Trinidadian woman to gaslight or manipulate the African American community into turning against her. She’s done more than a lot of you and your pappy combined
