Process of DELETION of Name from Voters List-

1. File Application: Submit Form 7 (for deletion of name) to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or online via National Voters' Service Portal (NVSP).

2. Provide Details: Include voter’s name, address, EPIC number (if available), and reason for deletion (e.g., death, shifted residence, duplicate entry).

3. Attach Documents: Provide supporting documents like death certificate (for deceased), proof of new residence, or ID for verification.

4. Verification: ERO verifies the application through field inquiry or document check.

5. Field Enquiry: ERO conducts a field inquiry to verify details for voter name deletion (e.g., confirming death, residence change, or duplicate entry).

6. BLO's Role: The Booth Level Officer (BLO) typically carries out the field enquiry on behalf of the ERO, visiting the voter’s address or collecting necessary information.

7. ERO's Decision: The BLO submits findings to the ERO, who then makes the final decision on the deletion.

SO, the BLO HANDLES GROUND LEVEL VERIFICATION DURING the FIELD ENQUIRY, but the ERO oversees the process and approves/rejects the application.

8. Objection Period: Public notice is issued, allowing objections (usually 7 days).

9. Final Decision : ERO approves or rejects the deletion after verification and objection period.

10. Update Electoral Roll: If approved, the voter’s name is removed from the electoral roll.

11. Notification: Applicant is informed of the decision (via SMS/email if applied online).

NOTE- OTP is involved ONLY for filling form!!

MERELY FILLING A FORM DOESN’T MEAN THAT NAME WILL BE DELETED, IT WILL ONLY BE DELETED AFTER BLO's FIELD VISIT AND GIVING THE PERSON AGAINST WHOSE NAME APPLICATION IS FILLED A FAIR HEARING.

So even if it's ASSUMED that Rahul Ghandy is speaking truth about CONSPIRACY to delete CONgress Voters....IT'S PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THIS RIGOURS PROCESS.

Bharat's democracy is safe. Only SOME FAILED people want to endanger it by spreading Anarchy TO HIDE their FAILURES. Maybe, it's the only way left for them to SAVE their EXISTENCE.

Pakistani military in its briefing has shown a video clip aired on @IndiaTV News Channel implying that Indian channels have admitted to destruction of Indian airbases.

This is an attempt by #Pakistan to mislead its own people by editing and cleverly stitching multiple chunks of a larger video.

The actual story in the full video says that the attacks were all intercepted and it shows footage of a Pakistani missile that was shot down.
