I've had funny dating experiences in this city. I once dated a woman who wanted to race me every chance she got. You'd be sat in the in an eatery waiting for food to be served only for madam to go "1st to that tree over there" in a dress. I lost so much weight. I'd see her and get palpitations.

Then I started seeing A. & on the 3rd date we joined a group of kids playing football at the park. She was surprisingly good at football, but she took it a little too seriously, imo. She was lunging into those kids like they were robbers. Had to call her aside for a chat. "Baby, those are kids. You will kill them. Please. In the name of Jesus. Go easy on them. Children are our future." Madam nodded her head, smiled, turned back, and went straight lunging into the next kid like Rey Mysterio. Swept the kid halfway into the galaxy. I had to pull her away very quickly. We probably would have gotten lynched.

Mellitus means sweet. The urine has a sweet taste. Hence diabetes mellitus -> produces a lot of urine with a sweet taste.

Insipid - insipidus - no flavour/taste - producing a lot of urine with no taste.

So the 'diabetes' is common for increased urine output, not the pathology.

Diabetes in greek means 'pass through' which is a feature of both, pass a lot urine.

Historically physicians literally used to taste urine.
