On a gorgeous Saturday morning, next to the Tennessee River MBA finished second of eleven teams, one point behind McCallie. Six of seven varsity runners ran personal bests, with especially notable improvements from Jack Wallace (15:26), Gabe Guillanondegui (16:14), and JP Newman.
MBA finished second of fifty teams at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational in Oakville, AL. Samuel Trumble was third overall in 15:29. Jack Wallace12th,Mitchell Chaffin 30th, Gabe Guillamondegui 46th, and JP Newman 48th to round out the scoring five.

Had a great indoor season! First season without coming off of football, and first time running the mile. Finished with a 4:20.35 pr in my 3rd mile ever. Looking forward to outdoor!
The cross country team finished fifth of sixteen teams at the TSSAA State Championship today. Mitchell Chaffin was our first finisher, closely followed by Jack Wallace. Jackson Lefler also ran really well.
With the fastest average 5K time in a decade (16:46), MBA cross country claimed the Metro Championship and swept the JV race with a perfect score of 15. Big day for the Big Red!!
The varsity cross country reclaimed the Metro title; the varsity finished first of fourteen teams, and the jv finished first of seven. Jack Wallace finished 3rd overall, Mitchell Chaffin in fourth, Samuel Trumble in seventh, Alex Deerkoski in eighth, and Jackson Lefler in ninth.
