This was the text I got the morning of shooting at our daughter’s high school. A child wrote me this text. She was dictating for our daughter after she was shot and they waited for the police and paramedics. Imagine being shot at 15 and thinking you won’t make it, so telling your little brother to remember to chew with his mouth closed.
