I really hope people can fall in love with Apex Esports in the way that I have over 3 years of working on it.
It feels like one of the world’s truly global esports where any team from across the four major regions can win.
It has some of the most incredible personalities playing in it and there’s always a chance that an underdog can achieve success at the highest level.
@MonsoonGG and Oblivion are indicative of that fact after this year.
It deserves all the love it’s getting right now and I hope it continues.
Soppy post over.
Another Champs in the books.
I’ll never take for granted that I get to work on events like this.
Months of work went into that event and opening ceremony and everyone who worked on it can be proud of another incredible event.
Competitive Apex remains unmatched.
@jumba@AyeJHawk Stage visuals were generated based on their script with key words or phrases picked out as good opportunities for visual metaphors.
An example being ‘Empires were crumbling’ line in script turned into TSM and DZ logos disintegrating as visuals.
Very proud of the opening ceremony we pulled off at this event so thought I’d post some nerdy production stuff on a thread about how it came together in case people found it interesting.
Last posts of the stream of consciousness.
The script. Created by the incredible @Jumba & @AyeJHawk.
Those guys were given a loose outline of the chapters and themes & delivered an almost impeccable fleshed out script within about 72 hours!
Completely underpinned it all.
