@Tooth_Chipper Since the crew compartment will be closer to the top, the effect won't be as great. They might also have the seats on a gimbal so the orientation stays consistent

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@jubjow804 That's fair. Only hindsight will tell us if the war was optional.

And there is an end in sight, it's just further away than everybody would like.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@jubjow804 I think it was more about people who can't understand relative importance of issues.

Also, the 'import millions of foreigners a year' party wants to make gas more expensive too.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@montehasspoken @NarniaWeb It would be hard to mess up two kids in an attic, but I'm confident they'll find a way...

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@DrewBMcIntyre @Veritas_Curat7 Some things can be known by the process that was followed.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@DrewBMcIntyre @Veritas_Curat7 When you see a graffiti 'artist' tagging a building, do you wait to get angry until he's finished?

Do you wait until the baker has finished baking the cake to tell him that sardines and offal are not appropriate cake ingredients?

That's how dumb you sound right now...

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@shelbystardust That's a primary function of law enforcement. What happens to a robbery suspect's children, are they incarcerated as well?

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@2ProbablyNever I think there's a difference in directing hate at him and saying he's not right for the role. I was pudgy; I wouldn't have been a good choice either.

But he's not my chief complaint. Him being a little pudgy doesn't change the story the in same way the other 'creative' choices.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@_PaleblueDot__ @HilarityjaneArt They changed it... 🙄

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@KatinOxford We're not going for history accurate; the bar is much lower than that. We're going for story accurate.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@NarniaYouTube It's better in the same way that canned spaghetti is closer to a plate of spaghetti made by an Italian grandma than week-old dollar store ramen clogging the garbage disposal. The bar to clear is literally under the floorboards...

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@JeremyWingert79 @NirvanaMonk116 I'd still hate it, but make your art house, rock opera, gender bending, race swapped, desaturated monstrosity out of one of those. Give us a straight adaptation for Magician's Nephew, Last Battle, and A Horse and His Boy before ruining them... 4/4

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@JeremyWingert79 @NirvanaMonk116 They even made Digory pudgy; don't think we didn't notice...

Why is it so hard to do a faithful adaptation? It didn't have to be this way. There are two adaptions of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian, and one of Dawn Treader and the Silver Chair. 3/x

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@JeremyWingert79 @NirvanaMonk116 Do you honestly think the trailer will change any of these well-founded objections? We've been saying this was a mistake since the project was announced, and every release since has confirmed this.

We saw what Amazon did to LotR; Hollywood needs to leave the Inklings alone now.

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@3LandObserver @crunchycorvid It's still far closer to the source material than what Greta came up with. Imagine having less soul and reading comprehension have a bot...

[Andrew Pegram @iampegram]

@NewAgeRetroNerd MacOS took free software and locked it down. The should get no love from anyone in the open source community...

At least Windows is honest about it's closed-sourcedness.
