@chadkirchner @SebastianBlanco@AntonyWrites @jonathon_klein Ok guys, from someone smarter than me: part of the reason a sidewall works aesthetically on a pneumatic tire is that the air pressure keeps it from buckling in the contact area as the distance from the center spoke to the ground decreases.
